Daisy's POV
My mom embraces me in a hug that seems to last forever. I needed this just as much as she did. We were all each other had for years and being apart broke us. "Can you ever forgive me?" She sobs into my shoulder. I pull her away and look her in the eyes. "There's nothing to forgive. Everything that has happened is not our fault."
"Before I introduce you to our daughter, there are some things you should know. " I gesture for her to take a seat. I then tell her everything that had happened since the graduation party up until today. I felt my heart break at her reactions and the pain she is feeling.
