About an hour later, Artemis summoned to the dining table for dinner. He contemplated skipping it, but on second thoughts, he decided against it.
His father would give him an earful or worse.
Changing into something more comfortable, he headed downstairs to join the unwanted guests.
Dinner was already served when he got to the table and Melinda was still smiling at him.
She went ahead to pat the seat beside her and Artemis was ready to ignore her when he caught his father's sting eye.
Releasing a sigh, he walked over and sat beside her.
“Now that everyone is here, shall we share the grace?” Trevor spoke.
Artemis rolled his eyes inwardly. What was the need of Trevor going out of his way to impress Sanchez when his daughter was already this clingy?
