CHAPTER 47. Servant's Love

1921 Words
Baron was inside his chamber, preparing his pieces of stuff for his trail back to the north to take the Princess back. However, his goal is not to let Dahlia marry one of her suitors but to prevent Massimo from obtaining his desire for the lady. After making sure Baron had everything he needed, he prepared himself for bed but before he could turn away, a sudden knock on his door made him halt. It was almost midnight and he felt an urge for alertness as he knew no one could possibly need anything during this untimely hour. Baron quickly grabbed his sword and leaned his back on the wall behind the door before he unlocked it and waited for the person to enter. Slowly, his door starts opening wide and with his quick movements he immediately grabs the person and locks her in front of him, gripping the person’s neck with his sword placed near the neck. The person coughs, struggling while trying to free herself from his hold. But Baron was shocked when he realized that it was Tala and immediately let her go. "What are you doing!? Why are you here!?" Baron inquired with furrowed eyebrows. But the lady couldn't answer as she was catching her breath holding on to her chest while her other hand is gripping on the wall "Tala, a-are you alright? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." Baron apologized and walked closer to comfort the lady. "I-I fine. Don't worry, it's my fault anyway for coming at this time of the night." "Yeah, I mean, do you need anything? You are supposed to be sleeping by now." "I uh… no, I just heard that you are leaving tomorrow so I came to… say goodbye, I guess?" Tala hesitated as she couldn't even look the man straight in the eyes. "Okay? So, yeah. Don't worry, I promise to return the princess and I mean it this time." "Thank you." Tala timidly answered, looking down. "So, I think you should go back to your quarters now. But wait, let me walk you outside." Baron moved and grabbed his coat, but Tala suddenly stopped him. "There's no need, Baron. I'm actually not planning to go so soon, not yet." Tala muttered while Baron noticed how she kept on crumpling her coat with her hands. "What? Is there any problem? You know you can tell me everything right?" Baron was confused. "Yea-yeah of course, it's just that, I can't let you go without saying my proper goodbye." Tala said as she slowly untied her cloak in front of the man and let it drop on the floor, leaving her body covered with only the thin fabric of her chemise, showing a glimpse of her body. "Tala? Wha-what is this?" Baron suddenly felt uncertain of what was happening, while his eyes couldn't help to stare at the beauty in front of him. "Let me love you for the last time tonight, Baron." Tala murmured as she started untying the laces of her clothing with her shaky hands. "Tala, stop," Baron said, but didn't do anything until the chemise joined the cloak on the floor. Baron swallowed several times while he couldn't move his eyes away until Tala was already standing so close in front of him. "Baron?” Tala whispered, staring back at his eyes. “Tala.” Baron called her back. “You’re making my heart pound so fast,” he nervously added. Tala smiles and raises her hand, putting it on his chest. She smiled and said, “I feel you.” “Promise me not to forget this night, will you?” She added, tipping her toes to reach the man’s height. But before Baron could answer, Tala courageously took the move and claimed the man’s lips. Every compass of her lips is unsure, but no bit of hesitation she feels. However, she suddenly became anxious when Baron didn’t respond. She pulled away and took a step back. “Am I not doing it right?” She timidly asked while her eyes started to well up. “Tala, are you sure that you want this to happen?” Baron inquired, looking down at the lady. “I love you.” is Tala’s answer and that is when Baron takes a step forward and grabs the lady by her waist and abruptly kisses her. The lady gasped at the sudden action but didn’t take aback. She raises her hands and encircles her arms around his shoulders while Baron starts to roam his hands all over her body, squeezing her skin. None of them wanted to withdraw and so Baron just gripped and pulled her body in his strong arms and carried Tala to his bed. He slowly lays her down without pulling away from the kiss and, though the bed is only for a single person, they still manage to fit their bodies together. The man wanted to explore more of the beauty and finally let go of Tala’s lips and trace his lips down to her chin, neck and chest, then to her tiny buds that were already poking hard, offering everything she had. “Baron,” Tala starts moaning his name and that’s when finally the man dares to finally touch her femininity with his fingers. He unbelievably liked the feel of it, of how her wetness made her skin moist to make him explore smoothly. Tala unconsciously bites her lower lip while trying to suppress her loud cries. While Baron can’t take his eyes away from her face as he is enjoying the sight of her. “I want to see and touch you too.” Suddenly Tala whispered. Baron stood up and took his clothes off, granting the lady’s desire, and couldn’t help swallowing while staring at the man. She sat up and unconsciously licked her lips. Baron saw what she did and smirked. “Touch me.” The man demanded. Tala slowly raised her hand and felt the hardness of his manhood on the tips of her fingers. Baron’s body stiffened by her touch but couldn't stand the arousing steam inside him and pushed Tala back on the bed. “Are you sure about this?” He asked again, hovering above the lady. “Are you hesitating?” Tala countered. “Yes, I am. But I badly want you,Tala.” Baron whispered, staring at her eyes with lust. “Then take me now.” Tala insists and kisses Baron again. Tala and Baron savour the night as their bodies successfully unite as one. Pain interrupts at times, but it never overpowers the heavenly sensation that they are sharing together. While groans and moans cover the entire room, evidence of how they both relish the moment until they both reach their peak. “How are you feeling?” Baron asked, whispering. They finally reach satisfaction and are currently lying together, staring at the plain ceiling. “Tired.” Tala answered with soft chuckles. “Did you…like it? Or am I too rough?” Baron asked again, curious about the lady’s thoughts. Tala turned to face the man and smiled. “I love it, Baron. And I am glad that you are my first. I will always treasure this moment and keep it in my heart forever.” “It was mine too,” Baron let out. “What?” Tala was confused, looking up at the man. “You are my first too, Tala.” He confessed. “Really?” Tala’s smile crept broadly. “Yes, I hope I did not do something wrong.” The man said shyly, “It doesn’t seem like it actually.” Tala teased him. “I always told myself to only bed a woman after a marriage but this happened. I can’t just resist you, your skin, your smell. Everything about you tonight is just hypnotising.” Baron said dreamily as his eyes pierced into hers while saying the words and sat up, brushing his hair with his fingers. “However, I feel a sudden guilt for disgracing you. This is not right.” He muttered with frustration. “I’m sorry.” He apologized. Tala moved and encircled her arms around his torso from behind. “Don’t say that, please. I don’t want you to regret what happened. Just this one, Baron. I want you to remember this as a night of my love. I’m begging you.” Tala implored with her cracking voice as her tears escaped from her eyes. Baron suddenly felt a sudden sting in his heart and turned to face the lady. “Don’t cry.” He whispered, wiping off her tears with his thumbs, “Why is it so hard? Does love have to be painful like this? It feels like there is something that is being pierced into my heart and it’s killing me.” Tala continues as she breaks down in front of the man. “We are just both unfortunate to feel it to the wrong person,” Baron whispered as he caged the lady between his arms. “This is so unfair.” Tala responded, still crying on his chest. Baron sighed, feeling responsible for the pain that the lady was currently enduring. However, even after all that happened to them, he still can’t find his heart for anyone else aside from the princess. Though he felt something unusual after their union, he still didn't think it was love for the servant. The next day when Baron woke up, he was expecting Tala to be at his side, but felt disappointed when an empty side of the bed greeted him. Leaving his chamber with no evidence of the lady aside from the blood that stained his mattress. He sighed. Everything was prepared early; the soldiers, carriages, food and weapons against both mortals and immortals. But before Baron goes and starts their journey, his mind is filled with the images of Tala and is bothered by it. He couldn't stop thinking of her and wanted to bid goodbye to the lady before leaving. He went to the servants' quarters but failed to see the lady. “Guinevere, good morning,” he greeted one of the servants he saw in the corridor while trying to look for Tala. “Good morning, Baron. Is there anything that I can help you with?” the polite servant asked. “Uh yes, I’ve been looking for Tala. Do you know where I can see her?” He inquired. “Oh, of course, but I regret to tell you that you cannot find her in the palace since she left during the first ray of sunlight.” “Wha-what? Where is she heading?” Baron can’t help but ask. “Back to her village, she had the Queen’s permission. I don’t know if she is still coming back, or maybe she will once the princess returns.” the servant informed him. “She left?” Baron was dumbfounded by the information and a sudden emotion rose from his core that spread throughout his system. Sadness. “Yes, I just heard that her mother is sick and that’s all I know. Do you need anything else?” “Uh, no. Thank you, Guinevere,” Baron said as his eyes were staring beyond the far sight of the land, thinking about the lady. “Alright, have a safe trip.” The servant said before walking away, leaving the soldier. Baron fisted his hand on both sides. “You left me,” and muttered, gloomily.
