Chapter 84: To the Competition

No matter how much I tossed and turned, I could not fall asleep. In an attempt to take my mind off things, I got up to put the laptop away. When I slid the laptop into the bag, I noticed a pocket on the inside. There was a tiny key and chain hidden within it. The key had an odd shape to it and was labeled with a symbol that seemed to be a door or unit number. I placed it in my palm and scrutinized it closely from every angle. The key likely belonged to the lock for some sort of security door. Its notches and teeth were too complicated for it to fit into a miniature padlock. Curiosity got the better of me.
