Matthew prepared a pot of noodles with some meat and vegetables. Admittedly, it did not taste fantastic, but I was content enough because I could feel that he had put his heart into making it. Thus, dinner was a simple affair. As I ate the noodles he had sincerely prepared, I suddenly felt as if we had already grown old and been together for many years. Matthew did not force me to continue learning poker and went to make up for his lost sleep instead, after he had finished his dinner.
