“Well, that’s simple enough. You can rest easy, Ciara, you won’t inconvenience me. If you have the time, you should definitely come!” Emma Thompson blinked, her eyes shining in delight. She looked like an angel that had descended from heaven. Looking at her sweet demeanor, one could not help but yield to her. “How about I take you shopping for some clothes, the day after tomorrow, after the parenting class? The shop that I have in mind has the nicest maternity wear!” Emma smiled, her delicate lips fluttering as she spoke. The two of us were not usually this close during the classes, so I was puzzled as to why she was so uncharacteristically friendly after seeing me. Perhaps it was her appearance or her enthusiasm, but it was hard to turn her down, and I found myself warming up to her.
