I knew Damian would be ready for me if I told him, but I was determined to catch him off guard.
Derek helped me plan, though he remained skeptical of my approach. "You need to consider all angles, Christian," he advised. "Damian might not fight fair. He will use everything he has to protect Bella and his pack."
"I am aware of that," I replied curtly. "But I have my own tricks up my sleeve. We will strike hard and fast, and we will not give him time to regroup. Besides, Damian isn’t that kind of person to not fight fair. His whole thing is to fight fair.”
