Liam’s POV We circled each other, the tension crackling in the air. "Why are you here without your team?" I demanded, striking out with a quick jab. Blade parried my blow and countered with a punch that grazed my ribs. "It's none of your business," he growled, his eyes flashing with anger and something else that I found weird for someone like him—fear. We exchanged blows, our movements a deadly one.
