Bella’s POV
“I’m sorry Bella,” he said. “But Damian has refused you going with me.”
“What?! Why?! Did you tell him about the rogue incident? Because I didn’t tell him anything.”
“It’s not even about that anymore,” I sighed. “Something is bothering him and I really need to find out what that is. But he won’t let me.”
I looked away. With everything going on both in the pack and outside, I wouldn’t blame Damian for wanting me close by. It was clear he didn’t want to let me go for fear of me being in the wrong hands, so he wanted me to stay safe.
“I’ll talk to him,” I said before walking to the alpha’s study.
