Eniola's mind was racing as she tried to think of a way to stop Lillian. She knew she had to act fast, before Lillian's plan was set in motion. She felt a sense of urgency, like she was running out of time.
"Listen, Lillian," Eniola said, trying to reason with her. "I know you're upset, but spreading rumors about me isn't going to solve anything." She spoke calmly, but inside, she was panicking.
Lillian's smile grew wider, and she leaned back in her chair. "Oh, I'm just getting started," she said. "You have no idea what I'm capable of." Her eyes seemed to gleam with malice, and Eniola felt a shiver run down her spine.
"I'm warning you, Lillian," Eniola said, trying to keep her voice steady. "If you continue to spread rumors about me, there will be consequences." She tried to sound confident, but she was scared.
Lillian laughed again, a cold, mirthless sound. "I'm shaking in my boots," she said. Eniola knew she had to get out of there, fast. She turned and walked away, leaving Lillian and her evil plans behind.
As she walked away, Eniola couldn't shake the feeling that Lillian was watching her, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. She quickened her pace, her heart pounding in her chest. She needed a plan, and fast, to stop Lillian before it was too late.
