Eniola went for the interview the following day and Mrs. Rose agreed for Eniola to be her cook. Eniola was very happy, but she often came late, and Mrs. Rose was not pleased about that. One day, she called Lillian and Eniola and asked them why they were late. "It's because of traffic," said Eniola, and Lillian agreed. "Okay, I will give you permission to live in my house," Mrs. Rose said. "Lillian, you will stay with Helen in her room, while you, Eniola, and your daughter will stay upstairs." "Okay, thank you, ma. May God continue to bless you and your family," they said. "You are welcome, and thank you too, Eniola, for your delicious meal and good work," Mrs. Rose replied as they left.
Elliot was back from the state, and Sule ran to open the gate for him. As he came down from the car, his mother ran out quickly to give him a hug and a kiss. Helen dropped her broom, Lillian came out, and Sule came and left the gate open as they all gathered to welcome him from the state. "Sule, go and lock the gate," Lillian said. "Helen, go and pack his bags. Or do you want to collect a dollar from a small boy?" Elliot then asked Lillian, "Are you the boss?"
Elliot saw Mimi, a little girl, and started playing with her. Eniola went to cook and went into Elliot's room to tell him that food was ready. She got there and saw Elliot coming from the bathroom with a towel around his waist. She turned immediately. "Why? I am not naked," Elliot said. "If you think so," Eniola replied. "I am not naked," Elliot said again. Elliot smiled and walked towards Eniola. He was happy to be back home.
As Elliot walked towards Eniola, he couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked. He had never really paid attention to her before, but now he couldn't help but feel drawn to her. Eniola, on the other hand, was trying to ignore the way Elliot's eyes seemed to be piercing through her. She knew she had to focus on her work and not get distracted by the handsome young man. But as she turned to leave, she couldn't help but feel a spark of attraction between them.
