The guys and I walked around downtown Knightvale while Selene endured the reading of the will. Last minute, Selene had tried to back out of going, saying that it was pointless for her to attend. But, Lydia and Harlow had begged her to go so she finally caved. Ana had a few things to say about it but Selene acted as if she was going to punch her and when Ana flinched, Selene laughed. She kept her mouth shut after that.
"There seems to be a lot of prime real estate down here," Aaren mused and took a picture of another 'For Sale' sign. "We could buy it all up and convert it to whatever we want."
"We should get Selene a puppy," I said as we passed some pet boutique. I wasn't paying attention to half of what Aaren was saying. I just wanted Selene back with us.
