One week passed quickly, all I did was train,over and over again.I was getting sick of it....not that I didn't like it or founded hard,it was more about missing hanging out with friends and going out on missions.Lora...I missed her the most.Late at night I would reminisce our times spent together,full of laughter and joy.

-Here...-Levi leaned over me resting his hand on my shoulder, he placed a cup in front of me then moved away.

-I already had tea.

-So...-He sits across the table holding his cup with annoyed look on his face.By now I known him enough to know that he always looks annoyed even if he isn't.

We stayed silent for few minutes, sipping warm tea,just the two of us nobody else was around.Guess everyone had something better to do this morning.

-Is something bothering you?-Levi broke the silence.

-I was just thinking.

Silence again.I stared at the cup in my hands,daring myself not to look up at Levi cause I felt his eyes on me.

-About what?

-My friend. -I looked up,Levi quickly turned his head and started staring at nothing.

-Tsk...they are all annoying.

-They are not,stop saying that.Besides I was not thinking about them, I was thinking about Lora.

Did I just witnessed Levi smile?It was slight but still...

-Who's Lora?I'm not familiar with her name.

-She isn't here.Lora still guards the walls. I haven't seen her for a while and I miss her.

Levi nodded his head,we continued to sip tea in yet another silent moment.He was talkative today,more then usual. It could be because we were alone or he was bored....hm...interesting.What ever it was I didn't mind.

-Do you wish to see her?-Levi asked me.Our eyes met.

-I do.-Just a thought of seeing her made me smile.

-Then I'll escort you after we finish our tea.

-Seriously!- I jumped from my chair and quickly paced over to his side.I hugged him tightly before he could react.

-Thank you Captain.-I whispered under his ear. Scent of Levi's skin tickled my nose,it was comforting,making me want to snuggle against him.

-What the f**k?- Anthony appeared out of nowhere just as I was still hugging Levi.His face was contorted in disgust.

-Don't get it twisted, she's just being dramatic.

-Hi,Anthony. -I returned to my seat.-We are going to the city,to see my friend.

-Together,two of you?And Captain,what's wrong with your face?-Anthony asked Levi noticing his slight blushing.

- Nothing....Victoria I'll see at front in 10.-Levi abruptly stud up and left the dinning room.

-I'll be going as well.I need to get ready.-I grabbed cups from the table before getting up.

-Wait.I though we could hang out today.- Anthony stopped me from walking away giving me puppy eyes.

Anthony...we had a rocky start,now things changed.We became friends,same happened with Rob.

-Maybe later when I get back.

-Fine Pretty face.

Levi was already waiting for me at the front entrance of the sleeping quarters.His back was facing me,but still he looked hot. Fitted short sleeve shirt accentuated his v shape and I don't even want to say how great his ass was...

-I'm here.

-You are late.-His eyes quickly scanned me up and down.

-No I'm not,I'm right on time.-I frowned.

-I was here before you,meaning you are late.-I rolled my eyes at his comment.

-What ever Captain.

It didn't take long for us to get to the city,it was about 15 minutes walk. 15 long minutes of Levi intentionally unintentionally brushing his arm against mine.Every time he did that I would get hot flashes.I was falling for that shorty for real.

-Victoria?-Familiar voice called out for me in the middle of busy street.

-Sensei Kaine...

Kaine maneuvered through the people walking in different directions to get to us.

-Victoria,you look...

-Kaine.-Levi interrupted him.I felt his arm against mine again, but this time he didn't move away.

-Captain Levi....Good to see you too.-Kaine greeted him not sounding so enthusiastic.

-How's your training going?

-Mmm...I think...

-Victoria won't be coming back if that's what you're aiming for.-I was stunned by sudden Levi's answer.

Kaine and Levi glared at each other creating knife cutting tension.

-Is that so.She's doing good then.

-Better than good.Victoria is a great asset for my squad.

-Captain...I...-What was he saying?Testing wasn't done yet or training, I still have a week to go.

-It's done deal,I already made my decision. -Levi said.I felt his hand on my lower back.

-Go meet with your friend, I have something to discuss with Kaine. -Levi lighty pushed me to start walking.Kaine noticed Levi's hand on my back giving him a death glare.

-Lora is on duty. -Kaine knew right away who I wanted to see,he was my Sensei for 4 years,he knew who my friends are.

-Oh,I didn't know....I wanted to surprise her.

-Then get back to the base.-Levi said.

-But Captain we could....

-That wasn't a request Victoria, that was an order!-Levi harshly said.Kaine frowned at Levi's tone but didn't say anything.

-Yes Captain...

I said and left,leaving them to discuss what ever they needed to.

With hands in my pockets I sighed in frustration at my failed plan to see Lora today. Lazily I dragged my feet over the polished wooden floor at the entrance of Sleeping quarters. At least I could go and see my brother,soon as I change my clothes. There's no reason to look good for him.

-Preety face!You are already back?-Anthony saw me from a room where we would hang out.

-Yaeh...-I sighed again before joining him on the couch.

-Where's shorty?

-He's....he had some business to attend to.-I couldn't say anything about what happened,how could I even explain the situation? I didn't understand it either,but my gut was telling me it had something to do with me.

-I didn't see my friend either,she had to work.-I started explaining without Anthony asking.

-That's why you look sad.What can I do to cheer you up?I'll do anything,just say the word.-Anthony moved closer to me,putting his arm behind me resting it on top of the couch. His fingers playfully messing with my hair. He smelled like straw and fodder.

-You smell like a horse.

Anthony chuckled.

-Sorry,I came from the stables few minutes ago. Didn't bother to change my clothes.

-Hey,hey...distance. -Angel showed up showing with her hand that we move apart.

-Relax,shorty isn't here.-Anthony stayed in his place.

-Anthony,we talked about this.Victoria why don't you sit next to me?-Angel tapped the spot next to her on the couch across us.

-Talked about what?What are you two up to?-I asked them curious about their weird interaction.

-Angel is just being delusional.

-Delusional?-I glanced at Angel,she rolled her eyes.

-I am not,stop saying that!

Anthony leaned closer to me.

-She thinks Shorty likes you.-He whispered in my ear.

-No he doesn't!-I laughed in denial.I acted clueless about this.

-Say whatever you want,I have my reasons to think otherwise.

-And what are they Angel?Tell me...-I asked her.Is Levi so obvious,that other noticed his behavior.

Angel looked around like she was searching for something.

-If you insist....he's always around you,touches you for no reason, glares at you,I saw him blush few time's,only talks to you about miscellaneous stuff...-She counts her reasons on her slender fingers...-He doesn't act like that with us.

Well f**k,Angel has a great perception. Can't believe she cought all of that.

-Angel...Anthony was right,you are delusional.

-Right...-Anthony agreed with me.-Besides,Preety face here will fall for me sooner or later.It's just a matter of time.

-Idiot...-I playfully hit him on his chest,he started laughing and hugging me.I tried to push him away but somehow we ended up having a tickle fight.

-Guy's stopp...guy's...-Angel said sounding muffled,Anthony and I ignored her pleading,we kept fighting until one of us gives up.

Before I could even process what happened, Anthony was on the ground and Levi towering over him.

-What the hell are you doing?-Levi was pissed off.Our smiles quickly disappeared.

-We....

-Shut up,I don't care!Hundred laps around the base,now!-Levi cut of Anthony from explaining. With no words he stud up from the floor and left the dinning room.I gulped when Levi turned around.

-To my office,this instance.-He ordered and I applied.Quickly I glanced back at Angel,she smiled and mouth me good luck.

Yet again I was standing in the middle of Captain Levi's office, ready to be scolded by him.He leaned on his desk with arms crossed on his chest glaring at me.I twitch when he suddenly moved forward.

-Are you scared of me?-He asked taking slow steps towards me.

-No.

-Then why are you backing up?

My feet moved on their own, right until they reached the limit, my back hit the wall.Levi pinned me against it,he was so close to my face I lowered my head to hide soon to be blushed cheeks.

-I don't allow relationships between squad members.

-Captain,Anthony is just my comrade,nothing else.

-And Noa,you two seem more then friendly.

-He is my brother.

Levi lifted my chin up with his long fingers,he didn't look angry anymore his expression softened.I glared at his eyes noticing something I didn't before,his irises had all different grey in them. They were beautiful...

I stopped breathing when his thumb crossed over my bottom lip.

With out second thought I leaned in and kissed him.Now,I'm going to be in serious trouble or in heaven.

I felt relieved when Levi returned the kiss.It was soft and sensual not rushed,our tongues just slightly brushing against each other.Wave of heat travelled through me increasing my heart beat,I desired this and now it's happening.His hands wrapped around my hips pulling me closer,pressing my body against his.

-I thought you didn't allow this.

-I'm Captain, I can do what I want and I wanted to do this with you since I first saw you. Now shut up and let me kiss you some more.

I smiled and reached for his nape,no more soft kissing it was time for more passionate one.I needed to satisfy my thirst for him and kissing him was just a drop in the sea.

We got rudely interrupted by sounding sirens in the distance.

-I have to go.

-I know.

Levi pecked my lips few times still holding me close to him.It took us a moment before we parted our ways.

With grin on my face I watched Hunters riding their horses through the Main gate.Soon I will join them facing danger,facing death.My body trembled from excitement, I was ready to kill,I was ready to free my city from the infestation of Howlers behind our walls.I didn't feel this enthusiastic before, Levi awakened something in me.

-This will be us next week.

I turned my head to the side to see Dorian watching after Hunters like I did.

-True.Are you exited or scared?

-Both Vick.I joined for the same reasons you did,to help our people but thought of being surrounded with Howlers frightens me.

-I won't lie,it frightens me too.I just buried that feeling deep inside.-I said to let him know that he wasn't alone in this.

-Do you think they are afraid?

-Probably.I mean sure they are,they are humans with emotions,they must be afraid.But listen Dorian, if we stick together and watch each others backs like we used to there's no stopping us.

-I agree,we make a great team.-Dorian smiled.

-We do.
