Chapter Twenty-Five Violet’s first task of the day was to speak with Rhodes. She traced him up to the nursery, where he’d eaten breakfast with the children, then down to the mews. He’d gone for a canter in Hyde Park. Usually, he read the newspapers after that, so she retreated to the library. She didn’t have to wait long. “Good morning,” her brother said, entering the room.
