Olivia’s POV
As I watched him take sips of the coffee I made for him, I realized that if I had poisoned him like I wanted to, then my plan would have worked. But I decided not to do it now. This was the first time I was making something for him, and I didn’t know if he would suspect me, so I decided not to poison it yet. Rather, I would continue making meals and coffee for him, and when he had fully trusted me, I would strike.
“Are you okay? You look bothered,” Alpha Enzo asked as he set the cup of coffee down.
“Yes.” I flashed a weak smile. “It’s my first time making coffee for you, so I was worried if you would like it,” I lied, and it seemed Alpha Enzo believed it.
He chuckled softly and pulled me into his lap, making me straddle him. I placed my hands on his shoulders.
