Olivia’s POV
*Two Weeks Later*
“Are you okay?” Sonia asked, her voice laced with concern.
I turned to her and nodded. “Yes, I’m just on my period, and it’s a bit painful,” I assured her, forcing a small smile.
Sonia stepped closer and placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. “You should take a ten-minute break. I’ll handle the customers,” she suggested.
I shook my head firmly. “There are too many customers tonight, Sonia. I don’t want you to overwork yourself,” I replied.
“You sure?” she pressed, concern etched on her face.
“I’ll be fine,” I promised.
Sonia sighed, reluctant to leave the matter, but before she could insist further, a dominant voice called for my service. I quickly excused myself and approached the table.
