Chapter 35I woke with the sunrise. My flight was leaving at noon. I didn’t need to pack much I had a house full of clothes in Hayward. I would spend 10 days in Hayward and right after the concert I would leave for the job in Nebraska. I walked into my office and printed out the file Jim Dempsey had emailed me on what the FBI had on the killer in Nebraska. It ended up being 30 pages. My God I thought, how complicated is this case. I washed any dirty clothes, and hung them up on the cloth-line to dry. The rest of the morning I made sure all dishes were washed and put away, plants watered, windows locked etc. The last was to take the clothes off the line fold and put away.
