Our flight was so tiring i could see how stressed out Gabriel was. My mum came to pick us at the airport. Immediately Gabriel saw his grandma he ran towards her. Grandma i missed you so much u don't look old at all what have u been doing to yourself lately. He said hugging her so tight. Oh my dear grandma has been enjoying herself, i learnt not to worry too much over little things and of course i knew i had to look good for my grandson and daughter. Hey mum you look good am happy you are okay now. She looked me with tears in her eyes and hugged me, i missed you so much my beautiful girl i know how difficult it is for you coming back here but you did it anyway for me. she said smiling at me. Grandma am so tired and hungry can we go home now please? of course my dear let's go home.
We got into my mum's car and we headed home. I stared at the house from the window as we drove in, mum the house looks bigger and much more beautiful what happened? you are right Sonia i did some renovations after you left i had to get rid of your dad's stuff and i turned the extra rooms into something much better. You did all that by yourself? it looks amazing mum. Oh dear wait till you see the inside. She said smiling at me. Gabriel rushed in leaving his bags behind i ran after him and immediately i stepped my foot inside all i could say was, OMG, mum you really changed everything it's amazing wow you practically turned our house into a mansion. Yes i did and am glad you loved it i felt we really needed to change things around here if we are going to move on from all the terrible things that happened to us in the past. Mum thank you i was so worried about Gabriel but now am not anymore because i know i can always count on you i love you so much mum. With tears in my eyes i hugged her for the first time in a long time i felt my mother's love again. I have good news for you honey. What is it mum? you are so full of surprises today. Well i got you a job at the Addenbrooke's hospital, i have a friend there who helps me with my treatments so you will have to meet up with him the day after tomorrow with your CV. Now listen baby, he is going to ask you some questions and then if you impress him he will tell you when to resume. OMG mum thanks so much that's so thoughtful of you what will i do without you? You will always have me as long as i breathe, now go freshen up and come downstairs for dinner i will ask Greg to take your bags to your rooms. Thanks mum.
Greg, Greg, Felicia called out., Yes ma'am? i need you to take my daughter and her son's bags to their rooms please. Right away ma'am. Lisa, come with me to the kitchen we need to heat up the food and get the table ready for dinner. Yes ma'am. It didn't take long before the table was set for dinner, Gabriel and i rushed downstairs and took our seats. Dinner was delicious and amazing it felt good to have dinner with my mum again. After eating Gabriel went straight to bed he was so tired, i kissed my mum goodnight and also went to bed i can't to see what my mum has install for us the next day.
