Maya's Pov
Slowly and reluctantly, I blink my eyes and uncover my face to the streaks of sunlight that penetrated through the window. As the sun rises and casts warm tones into my room, I feel something new. It's as if all the negative emotions have fleeted away, and there isn't a single reason to feel despair anymore.
After all the restless nights, I finally had a full day of sleep. My eyes were no longer tired, and my dark circles were fading away.
All the thoughts from yesterday played in my mind, and without noticing, a broad smile grew on my face. Never did I think I was going to wake up with an automatic smile plastered on my face. I wouldn't even be surprised if I slept with this smile. Last night was one of the best nights of my life, and I owed it all to Ethan.
