As everyone tried to make it into class before the teacher noticed that they were late, I watched as Ethan took a seat at the table next to mine.
He was merely five feet away and facing my direction.
"We have a new student today," our teacher introduced, "come in, Celine."
In walked a beautiful girl, probably Latin, with high cheekbones and an admirable shyness to her. She had the right physique and hair to have guys waiting in line for her, which only made me even more insecure. Not only did I have Leighton to worry about, but now I had Celine to look out for.
