Maya's Pov
When I woke up Wednesday morning, I was feeling all groggy and tired. I stood in front of my closet, deciding what outfit I should put on as I get ready for the day.
Today was only a half-day which typically still was a full-day for me as I'd stay in the library and study.
"Let's go eat frozen yogurt today!" Leah exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air.
"I'm probably going to the library to study," I said.
"Definitely not, it's a half-day for a reason!"
"Still, I have a lot of catching up to do."
"I'll pay for your froyo," Leah grinned, knowing she had me at that.
This time, I decided to order a different flavor, matcha, instead of the original that I always had since I was a kid. I didn't know what came over me, but I felt adventurous today.
