I smile and nod he starts the car up. I didn’t realise the effect it had on him until I saw the dents in the steering wheel from when he gripped tightly before I was in his lap. We got to the airport and did all the hassle of getting our bags checked and getting through the security. Then I picked up a scent of another wolf. I could tell Damon caught it to. We walked quickly to gate 7 to wait for boarding. The scent was gone but not for long.

I put his arm around me and he held me close as if to say don’t worry your safe. The plane was boarding we were the first ones on and the scent was on board with us. Damon asked someone near us to borrow their perfume and they agreed. He sprayed me lots and himself to try to mask our scent. The smell got closer. Before I know it the person sits in front of us and turns around as soon as we are airborne.

"Hello Sierra." She said.

She looked familiar.

"You have no right! Stay away from my mate and don’t talk to her." Said Damon almost snarling.

I’m confused and Damon leans forward to cover me.

"Relax I only want to talk to her. You have no right to stop me." She said.

Then I heard his heart start racing and a long low growl that lasted a bit.

"You lost your right when you left her. You lost your right when you threatened her." Said Damon.

Then it instantly hit me. This is my mum. I didn't know her scent because I wasn’t wolf yet. But it dawned on me. She’s the reason my father blamed me. I felt angry. I pushed Damon aside with him looking confused.

"You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Abandoning your 10 year old. Scared and alone. Letting father abuse me for not being the daughter he wants. And leaving me." My heart was racing.

Damon realized I was about to get all the humans attention and held my hand.

"If you hadn’t left me but ran with me, you would of helped me. I didn’t know my mate was following me. But I’m glad he was. He saved my life more than once. He did his best to make me not feel alone. I was chained I was hurt and I wanted your help so many times." I cried trying to be quiet. She looked shocked that all that happened.

"I’m sorry i let you down sierra. But when you turned young I panicked. I knew I couldn’t look after you. I needed to leave so that strange rogues wouldn’t attack you. And I didn’t know the rogue was your mate. But I cant look after you. You were destined for to much. If the legacy is true then your wolf and you are the ones to change it all." She looked at me with tears.

And she looked down. She smacked Damon across the head. He looks at her angrily.

"Why the f**k did you get my daughter pregnant before the age of 18?" She said angrily.

"I didn't" he responded trying to sound calm.

“Bullshit otherwise she wouldn’t be expecting.” Said Trish.

"I was to late to reach her. She was hurt and I blame myself but she wont let me. So watch your tone and keep your accusations and your hands to yourself " he responded still trying to remain  calm.

"So you were r***d?" She asked me.

“That is none of your damn business.” I replied.

"Get rid of it. You can not keep it. The prophecy states the young Luna can not have another pup to someone else other than her mate or the packs will fall. I only know because they let me read some when training your father." She said scared.

"I don’t care about the packs anymore. I want to be with my mate and they won't allow it." I responded.

My mate holds my arm as a tear comes out.

"You don’t understand everyone’s wolf will die. We will all turn human. You can either be the rise or the fall. How long have you been pregnant. It will grow quickly you have 2 weeks to get rid of it or you have doomed everyone including your mate." Mother said looking distressed.

My mate holds my hand.

"I will be back in a second I promise." He says as he walks to the toilet.

I look at mother.

“Do you even care about me? Like really care?” I asked Trish.

There was no response.

"What am I? I was told I’m not normal. What am I? Who am I?" I asked her.

She looked at me.

"Sweetie you need the archives in the wolf library. We are heading to the same town. I will show you where to go. Meet me and I will show you. But believe me please, while it is inside of you do not mate. It is a burden and it will kill your mate." She says in fear.

"How?" I ask.

Damon walks up and sits next to me. Then whispers in my ear.

"As soon as we get off the plane there is a appointment booked. We can walk in and they will help us. My friend already booked it and paid them." He whispered.

He started kissing my neck and I keep leaning away. He realises I may be upset so he just holds me. We start to descend and I realise I didn’t even know where we are. We got out and he went to the baggage claim as I bought a drink for us each. I am afraid to share because I’m afraid I will hurt him with my DNA. I wait near the door and he runs towards me with the bags then takes me by his side to grab a cab. We head to the clinic and see the doctor by name. Alanna Ledorie. She had black short hair and Brown eyes. I recognised her scent was strong and knew she was a wolf. So I hesitated.
