Maddie looked at him and she was like bewitched there.
Was the ghost really looking at her like that? Wasn't he just a memory?
A couple of second later, he disappeared.
Maddie regained her senses and shook her head slowly.
Whatever it was, he had helped her chase away two thugs who had clearly malicious intentions earlier.
She walked into the house and looked for the ghost but found no one.
Maddie only hoped that he didn't suddenly appear just like that. It would took her by surprise and she didn't like that feeling at all
After turning on all the lights inside and outside the house, Maddie decided to take a shower.
