I spent the entire meeting attempting to maintain my focus. It was useless. My thoughts continuously drifted to Holly. I leaped from my chair the second the deal was complete, managing to escape the stuffy boardroom of the hotel. Starlight Industries was now the proud owners of yet another piece of property. After stepping outside the doors, I dialed my boss to inform him of how the deal had gone down.
