ISSABELLE'S POV I had imagined that a slave prison would be worse than this considering the way Prince Hayden had boasted about it being a literal hell. This place does not live up to his praise. I have endured far worse situations than the grueling labor of working in the mining grounds and enduring constant hunger. The guards, with their cruelty and heartlessness, are nothing compared to the evil that resides in the prince himself. What actually torments me is the lecherous gaze of the men around me.
