02 Hesitate

"So... This is your first cheat on me, huh? Or maybe this isn't the first, John Cook?" You asked straightly and he was taken back awhile before his face changed into the saddest face you ever seen.

"I knew it. I knew you would found out about it sooner or later. Sigh, they really succeed this time." He said sadly and look up to the ceiling then look down again.

"What are you talking about?" You feel confused at his response.

"Hana, don't you get it? They were trying to ruin my image. I was just hanging out with my friends, and of course I also have some girl-friends, then when I was with them, they took a photo of me and threatened me. Now, after I gave them money to shut their f*****g mouth down, my girlfriend become suspicious on me! What a great day!!" He became mad and you can see he looks frustrated even more.

"B... But I heard you told him, that... that a date won't hurt… you admitted it just now, John." You were stuttering.

"Hana... let me ask you." He said while come closer to you and cornering you. "Do you love me?" He whisper sexily and you can't help but nod as if you were hypnotized.

His face was so close to yours and you feel like your face has become as red as tomato. You look away try to ignore his eye gaze. "J.. John... People may walk pass by..." you warned him and try to push him away but he didn't burden.

"If you love me, you should believe me, Hana. You're my sweetheart. I won't cheat on you. You trust me, right?" He continue whispering and you feel like froze on where you stood but you quickly nod and he finally let you go.

"Good. Now, see you later, sweetheart." He smirked and walk away, leaving you dumbfounded.

- YOUR POV -

The day passed like usual, more practices and practices. I try to get rid of John's problem from my mind but I can't. I was curious, about last night. Who John went out with but I can't ask anyone.

I just afraid that if I can't control my reaction, I would make people notice about my secret relationship with him. I let out a long sigh and decided to go to toilet first before going back to dorm.

After I get in one of the stalls, I heard few girls barged in and I suspect them to be the new trainees, judging from how loud they were. I shake my head and smiling by myself reminding myself how it was when I was new as well, until I heard his name being mentioned again.

Gosh. Why everyone know John Cook? Now I need to listen to how they praised him silently.

"He's really hot in real life. Oh my God! It's been awhile since I'm here and I just finally met him today! He looks so fine!!" A girl yelled. I roll my eyes, pretty please, he always looks fine, ever since.

"And and!! Sora!! Do you see the way he stared at you while biting his lips sexily?? Ugh, seems like he like you!!" wait, WHAT??

"Hahaha. Do you guys want to know something?" An annoying voice coming from a girl, I don't know why but I feel like she's the one so-called Sora.

"What? What is it?" They shout curiously.

Then I can heard that girl chuckles. "He just asked my number this noon." She said proudly and I gasp loudly but luckily those girls were cheering loud enough so they won't hear my gasp.

John Cook, what are your excuses now?

- AUTHOR POV -

You head out from your company building weakly. All scenes that just happened weaken you. You walk to the bus stop although you know a shortcut to reach your dorm faster but you prefer a longer route for now. You almost reach a bus stop when suddenly a car drives slowly beside you and the driver slide down the window, you thought it was just some random man, so you ignored it, but then-

"My dear sweetheart. Come in and let's have fun." He said and you turn to meet his mischievous grin who usually will be able to kill any problems that ever exist but not now, when he is the main problem.

"Why are you freezing there? Come on, let's get in." He said and you were thinking twice, if you should get in or not.

Maybe a short trip with him will lighten your mood a bit, so you decided to get in his car and push away those thoughts for a while.

"That's my girl." He said once you get in his car. He immediately pulls you for a hug and pecks your lips.

You look at his angelic face and questioning inside, 'Could this angelic face be able to cheat on me?'

"Sorry for a sudden appearance. I miss you so much so I wait until you done your schedule and here I am. Have you eaten, Hana? You're not on diet schedule right?" He asked wake you up from your day dreams then continue driving.

"Umm... Actually, yes. Our debut is near, my manager won't be happy if I gain some weights." You let out a chuckle.

"A light midnight snack won't make you gain weight. Actually you're too slim recently, Hana. You should eat more. You make me worried." He said and you feel warmer inside.

"I know. Let's go eat your midnight snack or anything you want to." You said, flashing him your smile as he smile back like a kid. "Great! I love you Hana!"

Both of you end up in a small food stall near the roadside and you furrow your eyebrow. "Why? You don't like eating in this kind of place?" John asked, once he notices your face expression.

"No. It's not me. I just think you wouldn't like to eat in here? Aren't you only going to luxurious café and restaurants?" You asked and he chuckles.

"No. I always love to eat in here, they're way more delicious than any restaurant. This one is my favorite too." He grin and both of you get out from his car.

He orders 2 bowl of Japanese ramen to the uncle owner. It's not that crowd at the moment and most of the customers are older people, so no one recognize John.

"Uncle. Where is auntie?" John asked while both of you wait for your food.

"Oh, she's sick so she didn't come today. I was planning to not open today but she assures me that she's okay. Hahaha." The uncle answers him while serving the food.

"Ohhh... I hope she will get well soon. You should close earlier to take care of her too." John replied.

"Sure kid. Thank you. Anyway, she's your girlfriend right? Oh my, it's the first time you bring a girl. She must be the one." Uncle replied and pats John's shoulder while smirking.

You just shyly smile and blushing while John wrap his arms around your shoulder and smiling proudly to him. "Yes, she's the one. She's pretty right?" He said and you blush even harder.

"Hahaha. I knew it since you came. You both look so perfect together. I'll treat you both for tonight, only for your first date in here. Next time you should pay." Uncle jokes and both of you laugh.

After both of you finished your meal and about to leave, John asked you to wait awhile in the car while he go back to the uncle. You look at him talking with the uncle, seems like John was giving something to him but he refuse it.

Your eyes drift back to your hand on your thigh and from the corner of your eyes, you notice John's phone. Then the sentence from Sora, replay again in your head. You were about to touch it but you notice John is coming back so you hold back your curiosity.

"What are you doing with him?" You asked.

"I just gave him a little bit help." He grins and starts the car's engine.

"You know him and his wife well?"

"Kinda. I've been visiting here ever since I was a trainee. Do you like his food?"

"Umm... feels like home cooking. I miss my home though." You replied while stare at the windows, doubt if you should ask him or not.

"On your 100 days after debut, I'll make time and let's go to your home town." He said while squeezing your hand and you look at him widening your eyes.

"R... Really?? You promise me??" You asked in disbelief tones.

"Yes, my sweetheart. We will celebrate it there and I want to meet your parents too." He chuckles look at your happy face.

"Thanks Johnie. I will wait for it and work hard for this debut." You grin at him, flashing him your deep dimples that he love so much.

‘John won't cheat on me right? He's in love with me. He even wants to meet my parents. He won't cheat on me. I should stop doubting him.’ You thought in your mind when suddenly a notification tone coming from John’s phone disturbs your thoughts.

Your eyes quickly lay on his phone and you read, 'Sora' name on the caller ID before John grab it fast.
