Aria’s POV
I walked back to my room with a skip in my step, and a grin on my face. My meeting with Fenrir had been a very huge success, and even Knox couldn’t deny it.
Knox walked beside me, shaking his head at the ridiculous smile on my face. “Come on, stop being so overexcited. It’s not a very big deal.”
I snorted. “Oh, but it is. Because it means that in a few days, you’ll mark me. So, excuse me if I’m overexcited, Knox.” I retorted, my grin widening.
Knox sighed, “You just saw the tame side of Fenrir. Trust me, when you see his wild side, you’ll understand what I’m trying to say.”
I wrapped my arm around his. “You are not going to spoil my very happy mood, Knox.” I replied, leaning my head on his shoulder, and he chuckled in response.
I thought nothing could ruin my mood.
