Aria's POV
“I'm really sorry for everything, Aria?” Knox murmured softly.
I kept my eyes on him. “What are you sorry for?” I asked.
“Everything,” he replied.
I shook my head. “No, you have to be specific.”
Knox paused for a moment, then he nodded. “I’m sorry for not telling you about Astrid before. I should have. I didn’t think it mattered, but I see now that it did.”
I swallowed, my throat was still dry, but I didn't care about water now. “And?”
His grip on my waist tightened slightly. “I’m sorry for dismissing your feelings, for making you feel like you were overreacting when you weren’t. I know that I would have reacted worse than that.”
I looked away from his earnest eyes. I wanted to believe him, but a part of me still felt hurt and betrayed. “And?”
