Footsteps again. Fast this time.
My eyes widened in shock. Levi had returned but with the drawer in his hands. "Take the book," he mumbled.
I looked at him confused and scared. “Why did he have to bring the drawer here? Levi, the Primus would notice. Does he know that you're here?”
But he just waved it off, “ Don't be scared of him. I'll take the blame. Just show me what you have to.”
