We arrived at the entrance of the throne room, and Robert told me, "You stay here, keep hidden, and stay quiet. I will leave the door open so you can listen in."
I nodded, and Robert entered the throne room, leaving the door open, so I could hear what was being said.
"Alpha James, what is so urgent that you have spent the last few days demanding my presence, when you know what it is like when we find our mates," Robert snapped, sitting down on his throne.
"Please accept my apologies, but I have been searching for a young woman who has committed crimes against my pack. She has a family here. I wanted to know if she is here so I could take her back. Will your mate be attending," Alpha James explained.
"My mate will be along shortly. And, what crimes has she committed," Robert inquire
