LYLAH I need to leave. That was all I thought about when he left me in the car. I knew the doors were unlocked and that I could run away, but I couldn't bring myself to do that. Why did he leave the doors open? Is this a trap? What if it's a sick game of his? To chase me? I could still recall that look in his eyes last night. That darkness wasn't something I could forget in haste. While contemplating my decision, the back door opened, and he exited. At the sight of him, my heart skipped. Not the good kind, though. I felt the squeeze of pain the more he approached. My knuckles turned white as I gripped the seatbelt. Just a few steps and he would — He stopped, grinned and waved. I followed his line of sight, puzzled by that expression on his face. I'd never seen him smile so kindly.
