Avery had no idea the last time she was that relaxed, from the gentle night breeze with the faint scent travelling in the air to the fresh, heartwarming scenery laid out in front of them. It felt different and new; it was hard to explain. When Ian mentioned a date, she was sure it wouldn’t be any different from any she’d had in the past: a gentle melody, a rowdy city street, a classy restaurant and a high-class meal.
