“What the f**k was that?” Storm, after Ian's performance in front of Avery, asked; his display somehow hurt his alpha pride so hard he wanted to hide in a hole somewhere.
“Our mate is so kind, isn't she?” Ian wondered aloud as he watched Avery walk ahead after Michael informed them of their father calling for her.
“What does that have to do with anything?” Storm demanded.
Ian, after a few days of studying, finally decided on how to approach Avery.
