Avery sighed softly; seeing Ian in front of her door wasn’t surprising since he was always very persistent but despite knowing her passcode, he didn’t push his way in and respect her wishes. Well, she did threaten him but he could have called her bluff.
Avery knew, even if she said she would end things between her and Ian if he barged into her apartment the night before, she wasn’t sure she was strong enough to do it.
