Chapter Thirteen Jonathan rubbed his knuckles from the blow he had delivered to the man lying in the dirt at his feet. He had returned early the next morning in a panic. In the middle of the night, Chester and Tweed had shown up at his camp. Both dogs were exhausted, stumbling as they walked up to lay next to him, panting and whining.
