Lectures. More lectures. One would think being Luna exempt you from this, but how wrong I was.
"Luna, Luna, are you listening to me?" Martin questions, pulling me out of my trance. His voice is laced with concern, and I can sense his frustration.
"Oh! Yes!" I respond, feeling a mix of confusion and embarrassment. "What were you saying?"
"I was simply informing you that what you did was stupid," Martin lectures, his stress lines deepening on his forehead. "You shouldn't have confronted Luna Lora. What if she decides to harm you and your unborn babies?" His words are laced with worry, and I can feel his anxiety radiating towards me.
I take a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. "Martin, relax, okay? The deed has already been done. Instead, let's think of a way forward."
