I freeze, my eyes fixed on the horrific scene unfolding before me. Eren, my loving husband, on his knees, tears streaming down his face as the caregiver, I hired to take care of him raises a cane to strike him again.
My heart shatters into a million pieces. How could I have trusted this monster to care for my vulnerable husband?
Without thinking, I rush towards them, my voice screaming in rage. "STOP! GET AWAY FROM HIM!"
