21. Malika's Confusion

Hearing Anjani's answer, Bima smiled, he never thought that the female student in his father's hermitage had the same view as Anjani's who said that he was the most favorite child and Erlangga was the favorite  student.

"Then am I wrong when my position as the favorite child has human feelings for one of my father's students?" Anjani frowned at Bima's question. She didn't know what the man next to her meant.

 "You mean, brother?"

Bima looked at Anjani with his sharp eyes. He was annoyed that Anjani was completely insensitive to what he was saying. He struggled to express his feelings in sign language so that Anjani would understand what he meant. It turns out that all of his goals were not achieved and even now Anjani looks like a confused person.

"I don't mean anything by what I said. Just forget it.!" Bima stood up from his seat looking at Anjani's face for a moment and then he left the place without permission. Anjani, who had not understood the meaning of the 2 men who asked her to come to that place, is now trying to think about the problem at hand. She doesn't know why Bima left her without saying goodbye and Erlangga also treats her with emotion, even though Anjani didn't ask them to meet her today. Looking back, Anjani felt a little dizzy in her head. Several times she massaged her temples then stood up and stepped out of the garden behind the hermitage.

She didn't want anyone to see her from the garden and be with the two boys who had been the dreams of the girls. Anjani immediately ran to her room and entered without looking at what Malika was doing. Anjani immediately turned her head down and covered her face with the pillow, trying to hide the problem she had just faced. Without realizing it, her tears had already flowed down the mattress and this made Malika watch Anjani's activities in silence.

Malika slowly stepped closer to Anjani and reached out and stroked her new friend's back. Without saying anything, she continued her activities. Massaging Anjani's back and body from head to toe on the back.

“I don't know why Big Sister is like this. I also don't know why Big sister seems so fragile today. If there is something that makes you uncomfortable, you can take ablution and pour all your problems to God Almighty.. I won't force you to tell me because I know who I am and how I am today.. I can only hope that you can solve all of your problems in no time."

There is no movement and no response whatsoever. Anjani was still silent and rooted to her place and this made Malika even more confused. She wants to ask for help but she doesn't have someone she knows yet.

“Oh my God, what should I do? Why is she like this and I can't help it at all?”

Malika paced back and forth in the four by three meter room. several times she had ruffled her hair, frustrated by the extremely disorienting circumstances. She walked to the door and tried to pull the handle, but she couldn't. She returned to Anjani and touched the girl's back gently.

“Sister, please wake up! Don't make me like this. I don't know how to ask the others for help since our positions are separated from other rooms.”

Anjani is still silent. Although she actually felt sorry for the girl who had just become a member of the hermitage, she still felt annoyed with the events that had just happened.

"Why should you?"

"It means?"

Anjani was stunned to hear a short question from Malika. She regretted having caused trouble for Malika and she immediately got up. She looked at Malika in such a way that Malika was embarrassed.

"Sorry! I didn't mean it. . . ."

Anjani looked down and took Malika's hand. She looked at the face of the girl who had made her jealous.

“Stay my friend and Sister!'

Malika just nodded. She still didn't understand why Anjani said those words, but she didn't want to protest anything Anjani asked.

"I don't want to be hostile to anyone even if that person has captured the attention of the man I love."

"Yes Sis."

Anjani smiled bitterly remembering Erlangga's words. She looked at the beautiful face in front of her that held many puzzles. new person but has already attracted a man and Anjani wants to see for herself what attracted Erlangga to Malika.

"Why? What's wrong with me?"

"There is no. It is my fault. Never mind, forget it."

Malika was silent while analyzing her attitude all this time. She felt like she didn't make any trouble with the girl who was already very good to her, but she doesn't want to be overly confident that she hasn't made any mistakes at all.

"I'm sorry if I've hurt your heart. I have absolutely no intention of that. If the problem you are facing is closely related to my arrival, I will leave here.”

Anjani shook her head.

"Not. You can't go. Your place is here and it will be forever."

"But if I came here it would only hurt you. . . ."

Anjali shook her head.

'Not. You have to stay here. There are many things I want to learn from you and I believe there are many secrets hidden behind your figure.”

Malika looked at Anjani, still frowning. There were many things she wanted to ask Anjani about the girl's change in attitude. Very drastic and fast.

“He asked you to come to the usual place.”

Anjani mumbled a sentence that seemed to be meant for herself, but this made Malika frown. She remembers the message she read on the paper Bima gave to Anjani.

“Is there something wrong with the message? I misread and Brother became a victim for the mistakes I made?”

Anjali shook her head. She clenched his fists as if she wanted to punch Malika, but she didn't. She looked her in the eye and looked down again.

“Tell me what made you what he is now! I'll sort it all out if I'm in the wrong. I apologize!"

"He asked you to come to your usual place."

"He? Who's he? I don't understand what you're saying at all. I don't know Brother Bima at all and if he asked me to come to the usual place, where would that be?”

"Who knows. Just forget it. Don't go anywhere because everything will make you even more clueless about the problem I'm facing."
