55. Rangkuti's Mission

1252 Words
Rangkuti followed Sarah who entered the headquarters several times, he tried to observe his surroundings to see the structure of the building in Sarah's palace which was very unique and interesting, nothing special actually, but for Rangkuti the layout of Sarah's Palace was really very unique and pleasing to the eye.  He never thought that people have a very good sense of the arrangement of the room. Sarah continued to walk without paying attention to Rangkuti who was far behind her because he was busy watching the reliefs and some of the uniqueness in the room he passed. Several times Rangkuti beat in admiration and this made Sarah, who initially stepped with long strides, immediately stopped walking and turned around. Sarah smiled when she saw Rangkuti admiring the reliefs in the hallway along their journey. She immediately approached Rangkuti and looked at the handsome face of the simple man in front of her while still smiling. Some of the servants who saw Sara's actions could only bow without daring to greet the woman. “Are you not satisfied looking at this hallway? I have walked too far, it turns out that you are still left behind. Here I hope you will follow me behind me and walk together into my study. There is a test you must pass before you are officially declared as my soldier.  “Sorry Madam, I am really amazed by the beauty of this palace, I have never seen a palace as beautiful as this before, it's only right that the soldiers feel at home in the palace, Madame, it turns out that this palace is really very cool and pleasant.  Sarah nodded his head flattered by the words spoken by Rangkuti. She was really proud when Rangkuti, who had just arrived, revealed all his first impressions when he entered the palace. a very pleasant first impression and able to make Sarah's feelings soar to the sky.  “Do you know who designed all this?”  Rangkuti chose he was not at all interested in knowing who was the designer behind the beauty of the Palace. What attracted him the most was how he could be in the palace without being disturbed by Sharif. She knew the man was always watching her wherever she stepped and it made her very uncomfortable.  “Did Madame herself design this palace with such a beautiful design? I'm sure anyone who enters here will be as amazed as I am right now. “Of course Rangkuti. Everyone will not see enough of my design. I've seen Rangkuti finally lost all admiration for the reliefs in every hallway in Sarah's palace by bowing his body He apologized to Sarah then he followed the woman who was now stepping out of the hallway  Sarah sat at her desk and asked Rangkuti to sit in the chair in front of her several times as a way of stealing glances at Rangkuti and when she saw Rangkuti was about to lift her head she immediately turned her gaze to another direction. Rangkuti, who actually knew what Sarah was doing, pretended not to know anything. This he did so that Sarah would not suspect him. The initial mission of his presence was to attract the attention of everyone in the palace and he almost got off to a perfect start. Sarif has been fascinated by all the activities that have been carried out in the field in the village of South Korowelang, while now Sarah is also stunned by the beauty of his face. “Tell me who you really are so I feel familiar with you.”  Rangkuti shook his head. He never thought that Sarah would get to know him at all. He tried to think of an answer that would likely make Sarah believe all of his explanations.  "Sorry madam. In the field, I already said that I came from Korowelang, the closest village to the Lady's palace. Both of my parents are farmers who work on Mrs. Sarah's rice fields. We are poor people who happen to be given a decent living by Mrs. indirectly so at this time I feel the need to come and dedicate myself as a thank you for the pitiful service to my family.” Sarah frowned, trying to think of Rangkuti's answer to her. She does have some land that the people in Korowelang work on, but she doesn't understand one by one the people who work their fields. She started to nod her head, understanding what Rangkuti was saying. “Thank you for coming here voluntarily and intending to return the favor to me. In fact, I never thought that I would be able to take credit for what I had given to the villagers. But if you take the initiative like that, then I will gladly accept all your dedication.”  Rangkuti was stunned to hear the answer of Sarah who said that she accepted herself to serve in her palace as a reward for Sarah's kindness to her family. “Tell me what your father's name is! I will thank the man who planted the seed in your mother's womb, the man who sent me a handsome son. I am really very honored to see your presence willingly to serve me. Don't be discouraged because I will accept you after you carry out the special exam that I will give in this room."  Rangkuti looked at Sarah, trying to wait for the test that would be faced at this time. He hoped that he would do very well on the exam and be able to attract the attention of the beautiful middle-aged woman in front of him. “What test should I take madam? I feel too worried when I hear the word exam. I come from a poor family and don't have any experience... I'm afraid I won't pass as Mr. Sarif said last night.”  Sarah looked at Rangkuti and forgot the question she had just asked. He was curious about Sarif's words. So far he had never heard the man say anything about himself, but to Rangkuti Sarif said something that really made him uncomfortable if he didn't know what Sarif said.  Rangkuti tried to remember last night and he looked at Sarah who was still waiting for her answer. “Master Sharif said that Madam would not take anyone for granted without having any advantages. Mr. Syarif also asked me to stay together because you will train me so that when I go to Madam, I will be ready to take the exam. Today I really feel very worried. Master Sarif hasn't guided me well, but Madam has called me and is going to give me a test." Sarah smiled hearing Rangkuti's honesty then she shook her head. "Don't worry about the test I'm about to give. I'm sure you'll make it through well." “Is Madam confident in my abilities?” “Ha ha ha, why are you so pale, Rangkuti? You have so many advantages. Everything in you is not owned by my other soldiers. Sarif, who is a commander in chief, doesn't have it, let alone an ordinary soldier of Anton's class.” "Mrs . . . "Rangkuti deliberately hung his sentence. He deliberately caught Sarah's attention. Sarah, who heard Rangkuti hanging a sentence, looked at the man in front of her gently. She reached out to give motivation to the young man, but before her hand touched, someone had knocked on the door of her room.
