57. Help Me to Help Her

Anna and Minah still continue to provide assistance to Miranda who is currently falling on the ground after her bonds are untied.

"Miranda please wake up. Don't be weak like this because I don't know how my life will be without you. I'm sorry that I came too late to help you. sad. My mother locked me in my room and wouldn't let me go anywhere. Usually I channel all my faults with the cell phone I have but now for some reason I really don't want the phone. Miranda, if it was just 1 hour ago I read your message. I could have helped you earlier so I'm sure your condition won't be this bad.” Miranda actually heard Anna's words but she didn't have the strength to reply to the girl she loved so much. She could only shake her head asking Anna not to say sorry for all the mistakes she didn't do.

"Miss, how about we get  Miranda together and we invite her into the room. We will give her first aid before we call the doctor to come to this palace.”

“Your suggestion is very good, Minah but I'm not sure mom will be silent when she sees me bringing other people into my room. Mother will never allow anyone to enter the house carelessly except for people who are desired by mother like the young man in front of her."

"There's a young man in front of him Sarah? Who is that young man? Is he Miss Anna's future husband?*

Anna hit her hand on Minah's arm. She didn't like it at all when Minah said her mother was trying to negotiate with a man to marry her because she knew her mother didn't like it at all when she got married and was close to any man.

“Did you forget that mom doesn't like me being close to anyone, Minah? Do you forget that mother tortured me when I was close to someone who helped me when I was bullied by the village youth? You forgot what mom did to me?" An experience that Anna really disliked. Several times she held her hands in front of her chest apologizing to Anna for the wrong she had done. She is known as a gloomy girl, but somehow with Anna who forgets all sad stories of Anna.

"I'm sorry, Miss. I didn't mean to make fun of Miss at all. I just want Miss not to be too sad thinking about Miranda's current condition. I want Miss to act normal when faced with a critical situation like now. Thinking clearly is more profitable than panicking. "Yes I know Minah. I know all your intentions are very good for me but I can't be like you who can come to see other people tormented like Miranda. Do you know how she is in my life? I don't want to accept myself as I am without seeing whose child I am. I can't calm down when I see Miranda's condition. I want to give maximum help so that Miranda returns to her normal health."

Minah tried to put her hands out to hold some parts of Miranda's body and make sure that the girl was still alive. She didn't want to go to waste. Someone who doesn't know how she is.

"We'll take him to the clinic, Miss. Ask Andini's doctor to take appropriate action as soon as possible to help a friend."

"Okay, I agree with your opinion. Are we going to ask the soldiers to carry Miranda's body to the clinic or are we going to pick it up ourselves? Since then they have completely ignored our actions and did not want to help at all. I'm afraid that when we ask for help they will refuse."

Anna nodded her head then she tried to approach Sarif and asked the man to lower the soldiers and help him lift Miranda's body and take her to doctor Andini's clinic.

"Sorry Miss. I don't dare to carry out Miss's orders at all because I'm sure Madam is currently watching us from inside.”

Anna was frustrated with her current state. She did not expect that her mother's subordinates would always refuse her request. She didn't know where she went wrong so the soldiers moved away from her.

"Don't you have a daughter? If you have a daughter, I'm sure you'll act alone and lift Miranda's body from its current position without thinking of getting punished by my mother. She is very weak and needs help. Okay I will lift Miranda's body with my own hands, but remember that one day when my mother and I are in good condition, I will take revenge for all your treatment right now.”

Sarifto bow your head. He was not at all sure about what Anna said about Anna's revenge against him because he had refused the master's son's request.

Sarif casually left Anna and Minah to go to the soldiers who are still torturing the villagers of Korowelang.

"Continue all your activities. Don't ever stop just because you saw a Miss child helping one of them. They are still captives which we have to do very well as is our custom and practice here."

"Yes sir, we obey all orders. There is nothing more pleasant than obeying Master's orders because I see God smiling so sweetly."

Sarif couldn't help but hear the answer from his subordinates, which was really beyond his comprehension. They praised him as a sweet man even though he himself wasn't sure that anyone else would have the same thoughts as his soldiers.

"Never make up an empty story just because you want me to be happy but in reality you're just falling for me. I'm a grown man who doesn't like being praised at all. Your exams are just bullshit. I hate compliments."

"Then what should we say sir? In fact, we were very happy when we saw the smile that spread on Mr. Sarif's lips. I've never seen that smile before. Master is always rude to anyone and only today we saw that smile Master."

Sharif left his soldiers.
