Wijaya and several students who witnessed Malika's activities just looked at each other in silence. They never knew what was in the girl's feelings until now. She looked so pathetic and pitiful. Several times Anjani tried to get up and approached Malika to help herself and motivate her dad to forgive and forget what was happening to her but Wijaya shook his head.
Seeing her teacher's head shake, Anjani returned to her seat. She lowered her head trying to control her feelings of embarrassment at the Master's refusal. Her good intentions were not accepted by Wijaya and witnessed by many male students around her, including Erlangga, a person who had always been in her heart and she always hoped to be the most special person in Erlangga's heart.
For a few moments the room was filled with only the pitiful sobs of Malika and no one dared to do anything to lighten the girl's burden.
After it was felt enough to give Malika time to express all her heart. Wijaya cleared his throat. He wanted to get attention from Malika and sure enough the girl immediately turned to Wijaya when she heard his cough.
"For a while Malika looked at Wijaya's shady face, then she looked down. She knew many people around her were waiting for the story to spill from her lips, but right now she didn't want to bring up anything that had just happened. Not because she was embarrassed but everything she did because she absolutely did not want to remember such a very sad and disgusting event. Malika also doesn't want the new people in front of her to know all of her life history so they can make fun of her whenever they don't like her presence.
"I hope that here you can find a new life that will make your life better, your future will be brighter and you can grow into a cheerful and carefree girl like now. Join the other students and consider them as your own brothers and sisters without any hesitation because they are good people and ready to help anyone who is in trouble.”
Malika nodded her head. Slowly she nodded her head as a sign of understanding what Wijaya had said to her.
"She's Anjani. My favorite female student. She is a good girl and is always ready to help any new friends regardless of the social strata of her friends. join the Anjani team and get ready to develop yourself. Don't get too caught up in the sadness you're currently experiencing. Focus on one point. Our goal is the same and we want to win the game. Don't just think that you're the only one with big problems. All of us who are here have the same problem, namely Sarah, the source of disease and the source of evil forces who always destroy the fabric of society. Without me explaining anything to you, you already know how it goes. Starting today, let's unite to cripple that evil power and win the right side. Never focus on your own problems because in fact what we have is about the tranquility and peace of the citizens in the Sultanate of Iskandariyah. Our focus is the same, namely fighting the forces of evil and returning the right to power back to how it used to be.”
Malika frowned, not understanding what Wijaya was saying. She knows that the man in front of her is a good person, as evidenced by how he talks and treats herself right now, including those around her. There were no screams here and there like the screams in Sarah's palace. Although the hermitage was very simple, the atmosphere was very calm and pleased Malika. In contrast to when she was in Sarah's palace which was only filled with screams of fear and anger from every corner of the palace.
Malika shook her head trying to let go of her thoughts. In her heart she promised to carry out all the advice of the Master. She wanted to learn a lot from Wijaya, a very authoritative and intelligent person who mastered situations and controlled whatever was in front of her.
“Master Master….”
Malika deliberately stopped her sentence to get Wijaya's attention. Wijaya who heard Malika's words immediately looked at her prospective student.
“Is there anything I should help you with? Why don't your sentences continue? Don't be afraid if you have a load of problems. You can tell me anytime and anywhere, including right now if you are already noon. If you haven't, don't ever expose your disgrace in front of me because you will be very sorry."
Malika nodded her head then she tried to lift her head slowly. the eyes that are still. She immediately shed tears and she directed him to face Wijaya who was still looking at her gently. She took a deep breath trying to control her current feelings. It wasn't the right time for her to tell all her problems but now she was sure she could beg Wijaya to appoint her as his new student.
“Say it without hesitation because I already know what you really want to say.”
Malika nodded her head. She really really believed in what Wijaya said to her. She was not at all surprised if there were people who already knew what other people would say because the level of knowledge of such people was already very high.
"Can I stay here and become a Master's disciple?"
Vijaya nodded his head. made Malika the carrier while cupping her hands in front of her chest to thank Wijaya for his willingness to accept himself as a new resident at the hermitage.
"Thank you Master"
"Call me teacher. There are no Master's words in front of him because I am the same as you. I am an ordinary person who also has advantages and disadvantages. Don't ever think of me as someone you treat too much. I am nobody and our degree and position in the eyes of God are the same. So don't ever think of me as someone who deserves to be worshiped and exalted excessively. I just happened to master science before you. Just that. nothing else."
Malika nodded her head as a sign that she understood what Wijaya had said. She was absolutely sure that the man before her really had no strings attached to the life she was living. Malika felt proud to be able to meet the person she would make as a teacher as well as a father. Several days apart from her parents made Malika feel like a chicken that had lost its mother. She doesn't know which way to go and what she should do other than take revenge for the death of her parents to Sarah.
