The Dream coming True

A beautiful white lace veil was covering the face of the lady sitting in front of the mirror in a sweetly decorated room. She was wearing a custom made white gown. Each of the piece in the dress was decorated and made carefully and elegantly. The designs were simple but elegant. The dress was simple, neither too heavy nor too light. Moreover, with her wearing the dress it just seemed like a fairy in white.

And even though her face was covered, anyone could tell with a single glance that the veil failed to hide her beauty. And her beauty perfectly bloomed in the dress.

She was sitting elegantly but her trembling limbs and sweaty hands gave her away. She was nervous! She was damn nervous!

Suddenly the door of the room opened and a girl of around 20 came in and hugged her, completely startling her, "Hey Baby, Nervous?"

The lady rubbed her chest to calm her startled heart and said, "Yeah! A little bit!"

The girl placed her face on the lady's shoulder and looked at the mirror in front of them, "Don't worry! Everything will be fine!"

The lady gave a faint smile and softly said, "Yeah! I hope so!"

The girl pointed at the mirror and said, "Look there! I still can't believe that the person beside me is still my little Lili with whom I grew up! Ahh! I feel lile I'm marrying off my daughter, not my stupid bestie!" Saying that she started to rub her face on the veil that was covering the lady's face.

"Aa! Jiaojiao! Don't rub! Don't rub! You'll ruin my makeup!"

The girl moved away and slightly hit the lady on her shoulder, "What's this Lili? You haven't even married your prince charming yet, and you already started to panic about your makeup! You never used to like makeup!" She pouted.

The lady looked at the mirror while adjusting the veil back to it's placed and then said, "Don't be like this. You know I want to present the best of me to him!"

Jiaojiao rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever! I still hate him! He took you away from me so early! Hmph!"

The lady laugh hearing her her best friend, "Who took me away from you? I'm still here, okay?"

Jiaojiao pursued her lips and looked at the lady in front of her, "Lili, you are getting married tonight and they might not be coming. Are you sure that you still want to continue this marriage?"

The lady stopped laughing. A pain and bitterness made their way in her eyes. Soon, a tear appeared in the corner of her eyes, "Hmm. I want to marry him. Only him and no one else!"

Jiaojiao placed her hands on her shoulders, "Are you absolutely sure? You, Bai Liling, are abandoning your fortune just like that? Won't you regret it?"

The lady placed her hands on her bestie's and smiled faintly, "Yeahhh! If I give away this chance to be with him then only I'll regret!"

Jiaojiao pressed her lips and smiled back. She placed her face on her shoulder, "Okay then. I'll support you in no matter what you want."

Both of them looked at their reflections in the mirror and smiled. No one spoke after that, they only stared at each other.

Then there was a knock on the door, breaking the silence followed by a female voice, "Bridesmaid, time to bring the bride to the altar. Hurry up!"

Jiaojiao straightened up and replied back, "Okay! On the way!"

Bai Liling also stood up and looked at her reflection for one last time before heading towards the door. She was about to open it when Jiaojiao pulled her back and placed her phone in front of them, "One last selfie before your married life?"

Bai Liling nodded with a smile.

Bai Liling was slowly walking at the aisle towards the altar. Her eyes were only focused on the man in white suit at the end of the altar, ignoring all the people around her as if they didn't exist.

The man had a handsome face, elegant features but he still appeared aloof and untouchable.

But she didn't care. What she cared the most at that time that after this night, she was going to be his and he was going to be hers forever!

Aloof and untouchable?!

Hah! She can change him with time and make him love her just like she loves him!

A blush appeared on her beautiful face as her teenage heart screamed in her mind, "Ohhhh God! This feels like that my long cherished dream is coming true! Ahhhhh!"

Then she murmured under her breath which was perfectly and accurately heard by Jiaojiao, "Xu Yuesheng, from now onwards you're solely mine!"

There was a burning fire like determination and possiveness in her almond shaped eyes that were completely hidden by her long, curvy lashes.

Yes! Possessive! Bai Liling was both possessive and obsessive of Xu Yuesheng.

Su Jiaojiao expressionlessly looked at her bestie, taking all the power of the universe only not to embarrass the bride by scoffing at her words and rolling her eyes at her.

Still she couldn't control her mouth which spat out the words harshly on Lili's ears, "Marry first then talk! Silly! Your counting the chickens before they're hatched!" and even pinched her hand while looking innocent and elegant to the onlookers.

Bai Liling skillfully freed her hands from Su Jiajiao's cluctches as she dreamily murmured, "Whatever! He's mine! This marriage is just the declaration of my rights on him as his life-partner."
