Two wolves broke through the treeline, putting the soldiers in the front on alert as they hoisted their weapons.
"INTRUDERS!" There were yells and bellows from the ranks as all of the soldiers instantly went on the defensive.
However, their eyes widened when they saw the shadows l*****g at the feet of those wolves, propelling them further and racing past them at the same time.
The soldiers at the front post of the city took charge and began to take positions to ready themselves for attack but none of them could make anything of the shadows that arrived with the wolves.
