I slowly bend my knee as I return to my dorm room and close the door. After crying until my tears were dry and hours had passed, I was once again in control of my body and mentally stable. I hurriedly went to get a hot shower so that I could wash all of the tears from my face before Karl came home from the movies.
"So, how was your.. hang out with Tiana?" Karl asks and grabs his night cloth out of his dresser.
"It was okay, it was fun, really fun," I tell him and also manage to laugh a little while inside my heart is already torn up.
