(Anelisa started with her matric journey and she was looking forward for it••••••• She and Chris were still together but they were lacking communication so Anelisa decided to focus on her school work and work hard to fulfill her dreams as she had no one's back.....She was in the top ten for Term one she performed very well in her tests what a great start for Anelisa.)

ANELISA'S POV

I no longer had to beg my parents for anything because I was in matric and the Principal did the saying for us. Another thing that is boring about matric is CAMPS we had to go to Modimolle for a camp with other schools in the district. Parents were sent letters and lists of things they had to buy for us. I was really dedicated to my work and I saw just how my mom struggled to get me everything I wanted. She loved me but she couldn't provide for me as for my dad I thought he was a nice person but I wasn't thoughting right. I saw his true colors. Everything that was done in the house was done by mom and he would always complain he didn't have money when he knows exactly where his money goes•••••••( FEW MONTHS LATER) here I was in the counseling room attending counseling. I decided to attend counseling to get things off my chest about what was happening at home since I started staying with my parents. I never had my parent's full support on my dreams and that is the moment I knew I'm alone no one is going to assist me pursue my dreams••••• Whenever I was at camp I never wanted to go home because I felt happy at camp and I knew I was going to be depressed when I get home but I didn't let Satan win... Always put God in your struggles and wins He will never abandon you.....We were now at camp full time as we were writing our Trials and I was so happy the year was getting over, I was looking forward for Varsity.

(Anelisa have started her trial examinations and she put effort in them. She was already receiving emails from different varsities as she already applied using her Term Two results...School was fun for Lisa and she didn't look like someone who was troubled at home but she knew it wasn't time to give up it was time to keep going even if it's hard••••••••• Lisa was one of the top learners in Matric and their school had a price for learners who had performed with high averages and she was always getting the prices.)

ANELISA'S POV

School is hard but I must keep going to be successful. I so wish to see myself at Varsity next year.Ohh and I'm still with Chris but the communication is lacking and he doesn't even see a problem with that, but we will fix the problem as soon as I get home after writing my finals in the next coming months••••••••My mom always prays for me when I'm about to write and I just see how much that woman loves me but her hands are tied she can't do anything. I wanna succeed in life and give her a better life••••••• I've been eyeing this girl here at school she's clean and cute but I don't wanna date with her I just want us to flirt only nothing else. Her name is Pretty and she's pretty just like her name. I even got her w******p numbers so we can talk about my suggestion. At this moment I don't want anything that is going to disturb my studies I need to focus on my books full time no time to play I got to make myself proud at the end of the year and that is what I'm aiming for.

(calls pretty via video call)

Anelisa: hey beautiful

Pretty: (blushes) hello Lisa get straight to the point what do you want from me?

Anelisa: Eish baby girl let me just say I'm into you and I want us to take it step by step you get me?

Pretty: I'm not into girls Lisa so I can't I'm sorry.

Anelisa's: Please think about it and get back to me again before the end of the week please I'm begging you. I want you Pretty please be mine( makes puppy eyes)

Pretty: No Lisa I'm not into GIRLS for God's sake••••and there is nothing to think about just accept it I DON'T DATE GIRLS I'M STRAIGHT.....

Anelisa: Okay I hear you Pretty could we atleast be friends I will stop asking you out I promise.

Pretty: Okay fine just FRIENDS nothing else••••••

Anelisa: Thank you so much my friend (Drops the call smiling)

PRETTY'S POV

Anelisa is so pretty I must admit it but I'm straight. I don't date girls even if I gave her a chance it wouldn't work out•••••• I need a real man who is going to baby me not a girl. I'm a girl so I know how girls are they are so tiring. Being friends with Anelisa would be great she will help me with Mathematics since I struggle a lot with Maths..She's clearly the definition of beauty and brains•••••••••

(Anelisa is so happy to be friends with Pretty and she also helps her with Mathematics until Pretty understands some topics that are a bit hard in class••••••• Their friendship is healthy and Anelisa is so caring and loving. they even go out on those friends dates when Lisa is back from the camp and they enjoy each other's company until one day Lisa tries to kiss Pretty)

Pretty: Lisa No I told you I'm not into girls so please respect my decision

Anelisa: I know Pretty but one kiss wouldn't hurt I just crave for your lips nothing else

Pretty: No Anelisa I thought we are friends only and you promised me that we will be friends and nothing beyond that.

Anelisa: I know Pretty••••(Pretty interrupts her before she finishes talking)

Pretty: Then what are you doing now Lisa??? Friends are friends nothing else beyond that.

Anelisa: I'm sorry I thought by this time you would have some feelings for me Pretty. I'm really sorry I won't cross that line again.

Pretty: It's okay Lisa but just know that I don't date girls and I'm serious. I see you as my friend nothing else beyond that Lisa••••••••(holds Lisa's hands)

ANELISA'S POV

What was I even thinking when I thought of kissing Pretty when she told me boldly that she is not into girls. This girl is going to drive me crazy one day. I need to move on from her and focus on my well being and my final exams which are slowly approaching. But I'm happy that I had the courage to tell her how I feel about her and I didn't take her rejection personal, I have been rejected a couple of times by my loved ones so this one will also pass just like the others passed. Nothing stays forever. •••••it's been a busy week at school everyone is busy preparing for their final examinations and it's been long since we came to camp.
