Chapter 27

Sage's POV

After I received the text from Akane, I get up from my bed and go to the bathroom to take shower.

I will meet them later at the precinct.

Last night and earlier this morning are like a hell for me.

I problem with the attitude of Eylul that is shown in Ayla and Ayla's situations.

I am so worried about her to the point that I am ready to kill that bastard.

My blood boils when I saw that earlier. My protectiveness from Eylul was being summoned. Ayla was a precious gem for me that I won't let her be hurt by others.

I realized one thing when I was in my bed last night. I will protect her no matter what. No one can treat her like trash or a nobody.

And I notice something that I want to seek answers and I am figuring out where I will start.

I wear clothes and prepare myself before going out of the room and downstairs.

As my feet touch the floor of the living room I saw my parents and Eylul having their breakfast in the pool.

I go there.

"Good morning, son." Mom greeted me with her smiling face

"Good morning, Son." My dad also greets me and smiles at me.

When I look at Eylul I can see hesitant whether she will greet me or not.

"Good morning Mom, dad." I greet them and kiss mom on the cheek and nod at dad.

I sit beside Eylul who is silently eating.

"Did both of you have quarreled?" Mom asks when she noticed that we are ignoring each other's presence.

"And what makes you like that?" Dad asks seriously.

Our parents don't want us to have any resentment towards each other.

We don't dare answer their questions that made them annoyed.

"Sage, will you care tell what's going on between you and your sister?" Mom asks.

Tiningnan ko si Eylul na Wala pa ring kibo.

Tumigil Lang ito ng pagkain at tahimik na nakayuko.

"Sage your mom is asking you?" Dad said seriously.

"Just misunderstanding mom."

"Misunderstanding? What kind of misunderstanding is that to come to this point that you are ignoring each other?" She asks frustratedly.

I don't have the guts to tell them the truth but how can I correct her wrong deeds if I tolerate her.

"Tell us the truth Sage. You're the older one you must understand everything to your sister." Mom said.

"She did something I don't like." I started that made Eylul look at me with her pleading eyes.

"I don't know how it started but because of what Eylul's did there was a person who almost......." I sighed." Almost r***d earlier in the morning." I said that made mom gasped in shock and look at Eylul and dad became more serious.

"Is that true, Eylul?" Our dad asks seriously and It's like a command to be answered.

"It's not my intention to come to that point dad." She answered with her cracked voice and try not to cry but her tears is too visible.

It was hurt for me to see her be scolded by our parents but it is for her good.

"Eylul, princess pls. Tell us why you did that?" Mom asks.

"I was......... I was jealous mommy." She said and cried which made my mom come to her.

I sighed and stand. I don't like to hear what Eylul will tell. It gives me more headaches.

"Pls. Excuse me mom, dad. I have an important errand to go."

"If that is related to MU cancel it, young man. Today is Sunday. Reschedule it for tomorrow. We need to talk." Dad seriously.

"I'll go to the precinct together with my friends, dad. Ayla will give her statement about what happened earlier and we will take care of the case that needs to be filed against the man who attempts to do that to her." I explained.

"Ayla was one of the students in MU." I add

"Then go. After you back here. Meet me in my office we need to talk." Dad said.

I nod at her and glanced at mom makes my sister tell her reasons.

I shake my head and pinch my nose before turning back at them.

Eylul's POV

Nang makaalis na si kuya dad wants me to tell them the whole story.

I cried. I don't have a choice but to do it.

"I only want her to stay away from Ali mom, dad but it's not me who wants to make her experience like that." I said.

"But what you did is wrong, Eylul. Did we raise you to act rudely toward others?"

"Hindi"

"You're 2 weeks grounded. No party, No gadgets, and only school and home will be the place you can go." Dad finality said.

"Ask forgiveness for that girl, Eylul If you don't like I will extend your grounded by 2 months."

I silently listen to him and dad sighed and disappointedly go.

"We hope that you understand your dad, princess. We only want what's best for you and your kuya." Mom said Ang kiss my temple then hug me.

I am silently crying on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry mom if I disappointed you and dad." I said bet. my sob.

"It's ok but next time don't do it. Respect Ali's decision and that lady. She doesn't deserve the words that you tell her. You also do not deserve to experience this baby. Let go and move on. Accept the faith that you had with Ali. He is not the right man for you." Mom said.

Even it Hurst I agree with mom. The reality had already slapped me. I can't let be hated by the important people in my life.

I smile sadly and made up my mind that I will make it up to her.

Ayla's POV

We are now in the precinct. Earlier I gave my statement to the police.

Now I am listening to the conversation between the attorney, Ali, and his three friends about the case that must be filed.

After 1 hour and 30 min. have passed I notice they shake hands as a sign that their discussion end.

Lumapit sa akin si Sage

"How are you? How's your stomach?" Sage asks at me.

"Ok na ako. Salamat pala kagabi." Pagpapapasalamat ko sa kanya. Naalala ko na Kasi na boses Niya Ang narinig ko kagabi.

"It's fine." He said and smile at me."I'm happy to know that you look ok now."

I can't understand myself but I want to hug him.

Myself seemed to have an own mind on its own that embraced him.

"Thank you"

Natigilan man siya sa aking sinabi pero sa huli niyakap Niya Rin ako pabalik.

Hindi ko mapigilan mapangiti.

I felt safe between his arms and I am happy that he is concerned about me.

Ali's POV

After we talked to attorney Gomez.

Zeki, Akane, and I have small talk.

When I notice that Akane is not paying attention to what I am telling I look in the direction he is looking.

I was stunned and hurt by what I see.

Then suddenly I remembered a scene

Lance, maniwala ka sa akin hindi ko alam Ang Plano ni dad ngayong gabi. Pls. Huwag mo naman akong iwan, oh. Ikaw Ang Mahal ko at Hindi si Xenon."

"But you're engaged with him, Amber. At alam na Ito ng buong San Rafael." May hinanakit niyang sabi.

"Gagawan ko Ito ng paraan, Mahal. Hindi ako papayag sa kagustuhan ni dad. Pls. Huwag mo Lang akong iwan."

Tiningnan siya ng lalaki at ngumiti "Mahal din Kita aking binibini. Handa akong hintayin ka sa tamang oras kahit Alam kong malabo na makuha natin ang blessing ni Senyor Art sa ating relasyon." Mapait nitong Sabi.

"Maraming salamat, Lance. Huwag kang mag-alala ipaglalaban Kita kahit suwayin ko pa Ang mga magulang ko." Sabi ng babae at Niyakap Ang lalaki na naluluha.

I silently massage my head.

And try to suppress my tears.

Nakita Kong lumapit si Akane sa kanila at sinusubukan na paga-anin ang atmospere sa paligid.

Sage mess her hair and give her smile after letting go to their hugs.

"Akane thank you din pala sa pagtulong sa paghahanap sa akin kaninang umaga."

"Walang anuman Ayla. Pa yakap nga." Sabi nito at parang baliw na niyakap si Ayla na natatawa lang sa kilos ni Akane.

I saw Zeki walk near to them and gave Akane a hard tap on the shoulder that made his cousin grimace.

"What's your problem again, insan? You always love to hurt me." Pagrereklamo nito sabay bitaw sa yakap Kay Ayla.

"A simple welcome will do. There's no need for a hug, idiot."

"Pagusto ko ya. Kay akon ni Kauga.... Araayyy insan sumbong na talaga Kita Kay Aunt Ayami."

"Did I already tell you that don't dare use that alien words at me?" Zeki said with his poker faced

"Thank you din pala sa iyo Zeki." Nakangiti na Sabi ni Ayla sa kanya.

"You're welcome." Sabi nito na ikinatawa ni Ayla at kinurot Ang pisngi nito na ikinatigil at ikinasinghap ni Akane.

Dali-daling hinila ni Akane si Ayla papuntang likuran niya at handa itong ipagtanggol sa kanyang pinsan na ngayon at seryoso na nakatingin sa kanya.

"Insan, babae Ito. Huwag mong gawan n..."

"Don't cover her Akane." Zeki said seriously.

"No. I won't let you do what you are always doing to the person that is pinching your face." He said hysterically that making the other police and people look in our direction.

"Wtf is your problem idiot? I only want to see her." Zeki said in a low voice enough to be heard by us.

"Ah hhhhhh. I thought you will do something as you know...." Sabi ni Akane sabay kamot sa ulo Niya na mahinang ikinatawa ni Ayla at Sage.

Naiiling na lumapit ako sa kanila.

"That's enough, everyone! Thank you for your help. Ayla and I need to go home. My parents want to talk to us." I said and look at Ayla she shyly smiled at me and go in my direction.

"I also need to go home." Sage said.

"Me too." Zeki said.

"Me three." Akane said and smile at us before heading to the way where we park our car.
