But I’m confused as to why he would be here. I thought we had agreed to hide Kay’s real identity from the mafia, and Aleksandr is part of the mafia.
Chase told me about Aleksandr, but he had never met him because he couldn’t see him the night he came for him, and by the time he woke up, he had left. After introducing him, Orla introduces him to us, and as he extends his hand, his polite smile barely conceals the formidable presence he exudes. I still feel a chill creeping up my spine.
