I stare at the camera, my gaze fixed on Liv and Julie as they ascend the staircase, their figures becoming eerie by the second.
It's past 1 a.m. and the fact that they're in my apartment without me is unsettling. They traverse the corridor, slowly processioning towards my bedroom door, and I watch, paralyzed, as Liv turns the handle and disappears inside after a brief pause in front of my door.
I can tell Julie said something to her too before she opened the door, but because there is no sound, I can’t hear what they are saying. Julie follows suit, the door closing behind them, leaving me in an uneasy silence. My eyes remain glued to the camera feed, desperate for a glimpse into my own private space.
