I turned off the ignition but didn't immediately alight from the car. Elena didn't say a word all through the ride and right now, she was still just as pale. And still silently sobbing. I was itching to dry those tears but I didn't wanna upset her any bit. So I kept my hands to myself. Finally, I alighted the car, went around, and opened the door to the passenger's seat. She didn't budge. I grabbed her hand, slowly pulling her out of the car. She came out and I slammed the door shut. Still holding her hands, I took a step. But she tugged at her hand, not wanting to come with me. “Hey, it's okay. We're just gonna talk. I promise.” I sounded like a lovesick teenager. But I couldn't help it. She was hurt. Emotionally broken. And f*****g pregnant. This was the most vulnerable moment
