“Elena, for the last damn time, who the hell is the father of that creep you're carrying?!” Trent bellowed, pushing down the vase next to him. It crashed on the floor and Elena gasped at the mess. My eyes popped, scrutinizing Elena from where I stood, making sure none of the pieces of that broken vase touched her. Trent would have a taste of my wrath if it did. Good thing she looked okay. Very terrified but okay. It was an intense situation. Trent had already let his anger eat him up. Just like me, he had anger issues. I was just better at controlling mine than he was. Give him a few more minutes and he'd really hurt her. The beastly rage in his eyes was enough proof. It'd be better if I stop this before it escalates. I'll never forgive him if he lays a hand on her. “I…I…” Elena
